I am still researching Inez Haynes Irwin. She had spent two years in Europe during World War I. She was scheduled to give a talk in Boston at the Wilbur Theater, "A Woman at the Front" on September 26, 1918. However, a news clipping on that date suggests the talk was postponed, due to the request of the Emergency Health Committee. I can only think it was due to the influenza epidemic of the time.

Recently, so many events, including those related to the suffrage centennial, have been postponed due to the Covid-19 coronavirus. Hope we all follow advice of health agencies and come through this OK.
